If you have foot or ankle pain, difficulty walking, keeping your balance or participating in sports, you may benefit from custom foot orthotics, custom braces or shoes. Children's Foot Care
Sometimes our children may not present with obvious signs of foot and ankle problems. Whereas parents may typically expect to see painful bumps on the feet, discoloration of the skin or nails, flat feet or obvious in-toeing or out-toeing when walking, sometimes the best indicator of a foot or ankle problem may not be visualized. It may be as simple as your child not walking to participate in sports activities that they normally enjoy. Click on the link below for more information on children's foot care.
Diabetic Foot Care
Patients with diabetes are prone to serious foot deformities and infections. This is because our nerves, which provide sensation to our feet, and our arteries, which provide blood flow to our feet are negatively affected by diabetes. Even sweat and oil production to our feet is changed by diabetes! It is important for diabetic patients to have their feet checked daily and to have a podiatrist as part of their diabetic-management team. Click below for more information:
If you have an old pair of orthotics that could use some TLC we may be able to refurbish them regardless of where they were intially made or purchased. Often this can add some life to your device while saving you a lot of money.
